Some of you have asked for a picture of the house from the outside so, here it is.....

Moving In Slowly

Well, as Dave & Lily, John and Sarah, Jeremy and Tiff, Rachael and Randy, Mandy and Jonathan, and Justin and Karli have all found out recently, moving is more of a process than an event. We're slowly getting into the house, hanging blinds, mirrors, shelves, etc., and getting things put away. Here are some recent pictures.

Well, we've been in the new house almost a week. There were a lot of subcontractors working late the night before our final inspection and the inspector still found a couple of things that need to be fixed but he said we could move in and he'd check them next time he comes. With Tyler's wedding yesterday, we had John, Sarah and Allie, Jeremy, Tiffany and McKinna, and Mandy, Jonathan and Alex all here and it's been wonderful to have room and enough bathrooms, hot water, etc. Hear are some early pictures of the cabinets, fireplace, the wood floor we installed, family room with carpet installed, etc. Also a couple of pictures of Tyler and Caryn at the temple after they were sealed. We've got most of our furniture in now and the yard has been graded and the driveway added so we will take more pictures later today and post them.

House is Coming Along

Well, we were supposed to close on our house on 9/28 but the buyers needed a few extra days so it's now 10/3. We've moved most of the furniture out and it will be nice to have a few extra days to pack and store what's left rather than having sleepless nights and stressed Mom. They've painted inside and they have delivered, but not yet installed the cabinets. Here are a few pictures of the recent progress.

Dave & Lily's Wedding

Here are some pictures from Dave and Lily's wedding in Cardston. They were married in the Cardston Temple and then we took pictures on the temple grounds. After, we went over to Waterton Park, which is the Canada end of Glacier National Park, where they held a ring ceremony. Dave timed the wedding to coincide with his family's reunion. It was the first time they had all been together for 18 years and they were reunited with their long lost sister, Susan. She looks and talks just like Jill.

This is before they did any taping or mud, but
it shows the tubelights in the entryway.

room through the archways to the great room.
Dad wanted you to see the finished ledge around
the room (the ledge was to cover their mistake,
but we like it). The fireplace will go between the
two windows shown (where the piece of sheet
rock is).















This is the family room downstairs looking west.
Imagine a big screen tv or projection unit between
the two windows.















This shows where the window seat will be on
the right and the pool table goes just beyond
the farthest pillar.















This is a bonus surprise...they finished under
the stairs eliminating the built-in bookcase.
So now this space will be the Kid's Clubhouse.

I had to show you the view from my bedroom.
Notice the trey ceiling! This room and the
master bathroom have lots of natural light...
we'll hardly ever have to turn on the lights.















This is the kitchen showing where my sink will
be and the breakfast bar. Beyond is the dining
area/breakfast nook, also with a trey ceiling!
