Johnson Family Reunion - August 2007

Last August we went to Pine Basin for the Norman C. Johnson Family reunion. Pine Basin used to be a ski hill and the Lodge, which is now owned by Bonneville School District, is available to rent. Robyn was able to get a great employee discount. There was room for everyone to sleep upstairs and play/eat downstairs. Robyn and Candy organized the meals and other activities, including a Johnson Family Olympics. It was great fun. Here is a picture of the group relaxing around the big fireplace.

Here are Mary Ann, Robyn, Candy, Grandma and Julie (Matt's wife), making preparations for tin foil dinners.

These are pictures of some of the "events" in the Olympics.

Everyone made a quilt block to be sewn into a family quilt.

Skits. Here are Brett, Trent, Candy, China, Kent Meichelle and Gracie.

Grandma, Emily, Camille, Kieton, Jim, Josh (nice, Josh), and Blake.

Grandma and her clan, Robyn, Brett, Candy, Jim, Ryan, Dixie and Mary Ann.

We enjoyed Pine Basin so much Ryan and Brett decided to go there again in 2008. Hope to see you all there August 8-10.

We keep praying for moisture but we sure wish we could have it without the wind....

One Year Later

Well, it's been nearly a year since we've put any pictures up and a lot has happened during that time. We'll do a better job and chip away at it a little at a time, probably working backwards, starting with the weather we've been having. Here are 3 pictures that show our back yard. The first is from Christmastime when Ali, McKinna and Grant were playing outside in the snow. The second is from January 19 and the last 2 are from February 1:
